We are like GPS units. We plan our journeys to follow a designated route. Sometimes there are obstacles in our path. Sometimes we make a wrong turn and get a little lost. We don’t give up and stay lost. We just recalculate and get back on the right route again.

  1. What a great post. This is so true. I like how you use the GPS as an analogy for life. I visited your son's memorial page and read all the poems and other things written about him. I'm really sorry for your loss. I can tell he was a wonderful person. It must have been so tough to deal with that. I lost my mom last year and it still is very rough. I admire the way you have handled it. I think I can learn a lot from that!

    1. Thanks, Holly, for your thoughts and for visiting Jason's page. Time has a way of softening the blow, thank God. I'd get so frustrated with Jase because he was such an untamed spirit and he seemed to thrive on breaking all the rules. His death has caused me to become the untamed spirit! He's always with me, just as your mom is always with you.
